"Waldweihnacht" - Christmas market on palace square

Enjoy the enchanting Christmas market right at the margrave castle, offering rustic charm with its wooden stalls, Christmas tree decorations and a flooring of foot warming wood chippings. The vendors offer a wide range of Christmas decorations, souvenirs, food and drink, including the traditional mould wine to warm up on cold winter days while taking in the atmosphere.

Erlangen on Ice

Just adjacent to the "Waldweihnacht" you can find “Erlangen on Ice”. This fully illuminated outdoor ice rink welcomes skaters in the beautiful set of Palais Stutterheim, offering 420 sqm of space for all avid ice skaters and beginners alike. Once you’re done skating the mould wine to warm you back up is just a few metres away!


Entrance fee: child 2,00 €, adult 3,00 €
Skate rental: 3,00 €
